Constellation Cold Adds 25,000 Pallet Positions With Impruv Deal

LONDON – October 12, 2026 -- Constellation Cold Logistics has acquired Norwegian cold storage operator Impruv Logistics AS, adding 25,000 temperature-controlled pallet positions and lifting its capacity in Norway to 90,000.

Impruv's Langangen site extends Constellation's Nordic platform

Impruv operates a newly developed facility in Langangen, near Porsgrunn in Southern Norway. The site is positioned to serve food producers, importers and distributors across the region, and the business also brings a strong transport presence. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Impruv was founded by food logistics, warehousing and supply chain professionals. According to Chairman Bernt Ove Søvik, the company opened in mid-December 2025 and built its offering around proprietary IT solutions designed to give partners a competitive edge.

Constellation runs more than 1.2 million pallet positions across ten countries

Constellation describes itself as a leading independent provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and cold chain logistics in Europe. With the deal, Impruv joins its European network of temperature-controlled facilities. The group will combine Impruv with its existing Norwegian team, pooling local market knowledge and customer relationships.

Management highlights expertise and operations alongside capacity

Jan Nielsen, Managing Director Nordics at Constellation, said Impruv contributes more than extra storage space, citing the team's food logistics expertise and the quality of its operation. He added that Constellation's scale and resources will support the business's next phase of growth.

Impruv CEO Morten Hagen Vanneviken said the company sees Constellation as a partner that understands its market and brings the scale needed for growth.
