The platform unites underwriting, claims, and risk management under a single system, issuing certificates of insurance within minutes and handling claims in-house.
Former professional athletes lead Golden's push into sports-specific underwriting
Co-Founders Peter Akman and Mike T. Brown, both former founders and professional athletes, designed the platform around the operational realities of sports organizations. "We built Golden to give each organization the flexibility to build coverage around how it actually operates," said Akman.
USA Fencing and other Olympic-affiliated bodies are already using the platform
Golden is currently working with National Governing Bodies and Olympic programs, including USA Fencing, alongside other organizations across the broader sports ecosystem.
Brown said the platform aims to remove insurance as an operational hurdle for sports organizations, combining sports-specific expertise with Corgi's underwriting infrastructure.
