Steel River financing underpins Google's largest solar and storage deal
Cypress Creek closed $3.5 billion in financing earlier this year and began construction on the first two phases of Steel River, with Google securing energy from both phases through a power purchase agreement representing the largest solar and storage project in Google's global portfolio.
Kevin Smith, CEO of Cypress Creek Energy, said the leadership moves support the company's ability to deliver energy infrastructure at gigawatt scale.
