SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 24, 2025 – Ricoh has announced that DATEV eG, one of Germany’s leading IT service providers, has invested in the Ricoh Pro™ VC40000 to boost productivity and set new standards in print production across its high-volume output operations.
With over one billion printed pages annually, DATEV operates a powerful Digital & Print Solution Center to support communication between businesses and their clients and employees. The addition of Ricoh’s high-speed inkjet system is expected to enhance throughput, reduce turnaround times, and drive efficiency in both standard and high-quality print applications.
Driving Performance Through Technology Integration
The Ricoh Pro VC40000 achieves speeds of up to 180 meters per minute at 600 x 600 dpi resolution, with upgrade potential to 225 meters per minute. Its ability to produce both standard and high-quality output using pigment ink gives DATEV the flexibility to handle a diverse range of print jobs. Integration into DATEV’s existing spooling and workflow systems is seamless, and Ricoh’s strong IPDS capabilities provide added value.
