Demand AI Names Ex-IDG Executive O'Malley as Non-Executive Chairman

Denver – September 11, 2026 -- Demand AI has appointed John P O'Malley, a former IDG Communications Chief Operating Officer, as Non-Executive Chairman of its Board as the AI-native B2B marketing technology company enters its next growth phase.

O'Malley brings three decades of IDG leadership experience to the Board

O'Malley spent more than 30 years across technology, data, media and B2B marketing, including tenure as CEO of IDG's demand-generation business and international sales and operations divisions before becoming COO of IDG Communications, overseeing data, technology, engineering, finance and global operations. He was closely involved in developing IDG's Pipeline Activator, an early platform for identifying companies showing active buying signals, and carries extensive M&A, due diligence and post-merger integration experience.

Demand AI centers its platform on the Amplifye.ai engine

The company's technology combines proprietary first-party data, email-delivery infrastructure and AI-powered content engagement. Its Insyte pages allow buyers to interact conversationally with content, letting customers identify specific buyer interests rather than simple engagement metrics. Demand AI is investing in global data centers, proprietary delivery infrastructure and a continually refreshed first-party database to support the platform.

O'Malley will chair strategy and M&A evaluation alongside CEO Michael Whife

As Non-Executive Chairman, O'Malley will work with CEO Michael Whife and the leadership team on Board governance, corporate strategy, international expansion and corporate development, including evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities. Whife said O'Malley brings "an unusual combination of deep B2B market knowledge, global operating experience and a strong track record of building and transforming businesses."

Company operates across four global regions amid industry transformation

Demand AI currently operates across North America, Europe, APAC and MEA. Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer Charlie Whife said O'Malley's experience building businesses at scale internationally would add perspective as the company enters its next growth phase. The appointment comes as traditional demand-generation models built around contact volume and lead-passing face pressure from AI-native alternatives promising measurable buyer-intent data.
