DoubleZero Adds Phoenix Perps Feed, Cuts Solana Data Lag 750ms

New York – September 29, 2026 -- DoubleZero Foundation has integrated Phoenix, Solana's native perpetuals exchange, into its Edge market-data platform, cutting data delivery latency by more than 750 milliseconds for traders accessing the Solana perps order book.

Phoenix becomes the third perpetuals venue on DoubleZero Edge

Built by Ellipsis Labs, Phoenix joins Kalshi crypto perpetual futures, added in August 2026, and Hyperliquid perps, added earlier this month, on the Edge network. Trading firms can now pull market data from all three venues through a single connection rather than building separate infrastructure for each.

DoubleZero launched two new Phoenix feeds: top-of-book and trades, and market-by-price data, covering all Phoenix perps markets.

DoubleZero decodes raw Solana blockchain data into a structured order book

Phoenix marks Edge's first decoded Solana-based market data feed. Previously, Solana data on Edge arrived as raw blockchain shreds that each firm had to reassemble before trading. DoubleZero now ingests Solana shreds from Edge's own multicast, decodes Phoenix's onchain program state, and delivers a finished market-by-price order book, matching the format firms already consume from Kalshi and Hyperliquid.

Phoenix trading volume has grown 15x, hitting $2.0 billion in Q3

According to Blockworks data cited by DoubleZero, Phoenix trading volume reached $776.7 million in Q2 2026 and $2.0 billion in Q3 2026 to date, pushing cumulative perpetuals volume past $2.9 billion.

Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, said the platform is built to add new venues without forcing firms to rebuild their infrastructure stack each time, noting that Solana was Edge's first data feed, followed by Kalshi, then Hyperliquid, and now Phoenix, with additional venues in the pipeline.

Automated traders and AI agents are the target users for machine-speed data

Perpetuals trade around the clock, a market structure where bots, market makers and algorithmic strategies depend on consistent, low-jitter access to pricing and order book data. DoubleZero positions the Phoenix feed as a machine-readable source that AI trading agents can use directly to analyze markets and inform strategies.

The Phoenix feed is available now through DoubleZero Edge for direct subscription by trading firms and automated systems.
