Chicago – October 06, 2026 -- Doubtless, a global pet insurance and solutions organization protecting more than 6 million insured pets across 10 markets, has appointed Karl Wiley as North America Regional Leader, effective October 12, 2026.
Wiley takes over North American operations from retiring executive Kirk Haggard
Wiley succeeds Kirk Haggard, who is retiring after nearly four decades in the insurance industry, including serving as CEO of Independence Pet Holdings and playing a key role in the company's evolution into Doubtless. Haggard's tenure strengthened Doubtless' North American business and laid groundwork for the broader Doubtless launch, according to CEO Dirk Beeckman.
New leader brings 30 years of experience from Allstate, eBay and Shutterfly
Wiley joins with more than 30 years of experience across consumer and protection businesses, having held roles at Allstate, Shutterfly, Motif, eBay, Alibris and MicroPlace. Beeckman said Wiley combines operational excellence, customer focus and growth leadership needed for the company's next chapter, citing his track record scaling businesses and leading high-performing teams.
Wiley will oversee Doubtless' full portfolio of pet insurance and care brands in the region
In his new role, Wiley will lead Doubtless' North American operations and its portfolio of pet insurance and pet care brands.
