DRB Group splits U.S. mortgage strategy into east-west joint ventures
The homebuilder will operate DRB Mortgage with Acrisure Mortgage across its eastern markets, while DRB Home Loans will serve western buyers through Alta Home Lending. Both platforms are scheduled to go live in January 2027, aligning financing with DRB's national homebuilding footprint.
Matthew Wolf leads partner selection after national builder tenure
Ronny Salameh, President and CEO of DRB Group, tapped Matthew Wolf, senior vice president of Financial Services, to run the partner search. Wolf previously worked at a top-5 national homebuilder before joining DRB Group, and selected Acrisure Mortgage and Alta Home Lending based on operational strength and local market knowledge.
Joint ventures aim to tighten coordination between sales and loan officers
DRB Group expects the new structure to create closer day-to-day alignment between its sales consultants and dedicated mortgage loan officers from early stages of the buyer journey. The company said this coordination is designed to reduce financing friction and support higher conversion rates from contract to closing.
"Our goal is simple: to combine the strength of DRB's homebuilding platform with mortgage partners that understand our customers, our markets, and the importance of consistent execution," said Salameh.
