Washington, D.C. – September 30, 2026 -- E2, a nonpartisan business organization for climate and clean energy policy, has merged operations with Cleantech Leaders Roundtable (CTLR), folding CTLR's executive network into E2's base of more than 13,000 business leaders nationwide.
CTLR becomes an E2 program while keeping its brand and leadership team
Under the agreement, CTLR retains its name and identity but operates as a program of E2, gaining access to E2's national and state policy, advocacy, and communications resources. CTLR CEO Ann Davlin and other CTLR staff are joining the E2 team. The deal lands as CTLR approaches its 10th anniversary in 2027.
E2 brings 26 years of policy advocacy to CTLR's private executive network
E2 has spent 26 years helping pass climate and clean energy legislation in the U.S. CTLR built its reputation as a private network for senior leaders in resilient infrastructure, energy independence, and sustainable economic growth, offering off-the-record dialogue and investment-focused events.
"This is a moment for business leaders to lead," said E2 Executive Director Bob Keefe. "By bringing CTLR into E2, we're creating a stronger, more influential voice to get our clean economy back on track in America."
Members gain access to national events, research, and policy channels
CTLR members keep their existing networking format, investment opportunities, and candid off-the-record events. They now also gain entry to E2's national and regional events, its data and research tracking the clean economy, and a direct channel to shape clean energy policy.
Ann Davlin said the combination expands CTLR's offering into more cities and sectors while linking business leadership directly to policy decisions. CTLR co-founder Jigar Shah said the merger pairs one of the strongest networks of energy executives and investors with policy infrastructure aimed at cutting red tape and supporting American manufacturing. Co-founder Jacob Susman said the deal preserves CTLR's founder-focused identity while widening its resource base.
E2 Chair and Co-founder Nicole Lederer said the combined organization gives the business voice for clean energy policy added scale at a moment she called central to the nation's economic and environmental future.
