Chicago – October 15, 2026 -- Egis has appointed Jon Moretta, a 35-year industry executive from Parsons Corporation, as Chief Executive Officer of its U.S. business, tasking him with leading the platform's growth across infrastructure, engineering and industrial markets.
Moretta will focus on strengthening client relationships and expanding capabilities. He is also charged with combining Egis' local expertise with its global resources to deliver what the company describes as innovative, sustainable solutions.
Moretta arrives from Parsons with full P&L experience across federal and industrial markets
Moretta joins from Parsons Corporation, where he held increasingly senior leadership roles. His responsibilities there covered strategy, growth, operations and full P&L performance across federal, critical infrastructure and industrial markets.
His more than 35 years of executive experience span engineering, operations, business development, capital project delivery, technology and sustainability. Egis said he has grown profitable operations, developed new markets and technologies, and delivered major programs for public and private sector clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with honors from the University of Michigan.
Egis frames the U.S. as central to its Americas growth plans
Alaa AbuSiam, CEO of Egis in the Americas, said the United States is central to the company's growth ambitions across the region. He cited Moretta's strategic perspective, commercial discipline and people-focused leadership as the qualities needed to accelerate progress.
