Eligible Passes SOC 2 Type II With Zero Exceptions

New York – September 11, 2026 -- Eligible, Inc. has completed its SOC 2 Type II examination for its Platform Services System with zero exceptions across all four Trust Services Categories evaluated: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, and Confidentiality.

Independent assessor A-LIGN confirms full compliance across audit period

The examination, conducted by third-party assessor A-LIGN, evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of Eligible's controls over a defined audit period, covering the REST APIs, application infrastructure, and supporting services that process HIPAA-mandated healthcare financial transactions. These include eligibility verification (270/271), claims (837/276/277), remittance (835), and acknowledgements (TA1, 997, 999).

SOC 2 result follows HITRUST r2 certification achieved in June 2026

The SOC 2 Type II outcome builds on Eligible's HITRUST r2 Certification, announced in June 2026, in which the company achieved certification across all 19 domains and scored above the HITRUST industry average. Katelyn Gleason, CEO and Founder of Eligible, said the company completed two of healthcare's most rigorous independent certifications within a single season, calling the zero-exception SOC 2 result the product of treating compliance as a continuous operational system rather than an annual exercise.

Two certifications now provide layered assurance for handling of protected health information

Combined, the HITRUST r2 Certification and SOC 2 Type II report give Eligible's partners — healthcare providers, their agents, and insurers — two independent, complementary layers of verified assurance regarding the handling of Protected Health Information under stringent industry control frameworks.
