Raleigh – September 17, 2026 -- Endpoint Clinical L.P., a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Boston-based Bluefin, a clinical supply forecasting and planning technology provider, expanding Endpoint's footprint from randomization and trial supply management (RTSM) into upstream supply chain planning.
Bluefin will keep operating independently across all RTSM platforms
Under the deal, Bluefin will continue to run as a standalone, RTSM-agnostic business, connecting with RTSM systems industry-wide rather than being folded exclusively into Endpoint's technology stack. Endpoint will provide global project management, implementation, quality and customer support resources to help sponsors deploy Bluefin's platform at scale.
Executives say the combination links planning data to real-time trial execution
Nagaraja "Sri" Srivatsan, CEO of Endpoint Clinical, said clinical supply planning is becoming more complex and more dependent on timely intelligence, and that Bluefin gives Endpoint a foundation in supply planning while preserving sponsor choice across RTSM providers. Andy Maltun, Co-Founder and CEO of Bluefin, said the goal is a clinical supply intelligence platform that automates manual forecasting work, reduces risk and lowers cost through optimized supply plans.
Arsenal Capital backs the deal as part of its 2024 investment in Endpoint
Arsenal Capital Partners acquired Endpoint Clinical in 2024 and continues to fund the expansion of its RTSM platforms and AI capabilities. Mark A. Goldberg, MD, Chairman of Endpoint's Board and Operating Partner at Arsenal, said the acquisition gives Endpoint a path into supply planning while Bluefin gains resources to scale, with the market retaining an independent planning platform compatible with any RTSM environment.
The companies aim to connect supply plans with enrollment signals, inventory movement and RTSM execution data so sponsors can anticipate enrollment shifts rather than react to them across increasingly complex global trials.
