Las Vegas – – September 19, 2026 -- Endra unveiled Endra Power Studio, the first agentic AI platform purpose-built for electrical engineering, and simultaneously acquired Swiss AI firm Planlabs to bring mechanical engineering capabilities in-house.
Power Studio compresses a two-month electrical design job into under a day
The platform runs electrical design end-to-end: engineers load a building model, set requirements, and instruct agents to execute the design while signing off at each stage. Endra says a code-compliant electrical design for a 500,000 square foot commercial building, traditionally a two-month process, can now be completed in less than a day.

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering has for 25 years relied on disconnected tools -- drafting in Revit, calculating in Excel, coordinating in Navisworks -- leaving engineers to manually bridge systems that do not talk to each other. Endra argues this fragmentation, combined with a global shortage of trained MEP engineers, has become the limiting factor on construction as data center buildouts, infrastructure electrification and net-zero targets accelerate demand.
Playbooks, Agents and Simulation form the platform's core architecture
Firms store their engineering standards -- unit placement, circuiting, code interpretation, calculation methods -- in "Playbooks" that every agent and workflow references, preserving firm-specific practice as senior engineers retire. Agents handle defined tasks such as routing strategy, unit placement and updating models against architectural revisions, while a physics engine checks designs against code and calculates cable sizing and voltage drop. A "Type Rooms" feature lets engineers design a single healthcare, multi-family or hotel room once and apply it across every matching room in a model. From the platform's document engine, engineers can generate Revit models, single line diagrams, shop drawings, panelboard schedules and bills of materials.
"Endra takes care of the repetitive work, and gives the engineers back the time for judgment and design," said Niklas Lindgren, CEO and Co-Founder of Endra. Endra states it does not train models on customer data, and the platform is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, Cyber Essentials Plus assessed and GDPR compliant, with regionally hosted data.
Planlabs acquisition adds mechanical engineering roadmap ahead of 2027 plumbing module
Founded in Switzerland in June 2024, Planlabs is a five-person team of mathematics and computer science PhDs whose geometry, data and physics engines automatically design mechanical systems and check them against physical constraints. The team joins Endra as a technology and talent acquisition; mechanical capabilities will be added to the platform once integration is complete, with a plumbing module planned for 2027.
Series A of $50 million backs expansion into New York, San Francisco and London
The Power Studio launch and Planlabs acquisition follow a $50 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with earlier backing from Notion Capital and Norrsken VC. Endra, founded in Stockholm in 2024, works with enterprise consulting firms including AtkinsRéalis, Ramboll, Buro Happold, Hoare Lea and AFRY, and is expanding from Stockholm into New York, San Francisco and London. Power Studio launched at Endra's Epoch event in Las Vegas, held the eve before Autodesk University.
