Bethesda, Md. – September 11, 2026 -- EPS Learning has secured SOC 2 Type II attestation for its EPS Connect platform following an independent audit by SC&H Attest Services, P.C., providing school and district partners formal assurance over student data protections.
Independent auditor validates security controls over a sustained period
The SOC 2 Type II review, based on the AICPA's Trust Services Criteria for security, examined the design and operating effectiveness of EPS Learning's controls over time rather than at a single point. Auditors assessed policies, procedures, risk management, incident response, disaster recovery processes, and information and communication systems tied to EPS Connect.
Attestation targets data safeguards for PreK-12 school partners
EPS Connect is used by administrators, teachers, and students to access instructional content, assessment tools, and progress-monitoring features tied to EPS Learning's literacy programs. The platform delivers instructional resources, assessments, and targeted practice tailored to specific EPS Learning solutions.
Monte Kalisch, Vice President of Technology at EPS Learning, said the attestation confirms the company has established, documented, and tested controls designed to protect information and support recovery from potential disruptions.
