Wenzhou – September 07, 2026 -- EVB's BUDC ultra-slim dual-connector DC EV charger has won both the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026, recognizing a 150 kW unit built to fit into space-constrained European fast-charging sites.
BUDC delivers 150 kW output in a body roughly 100 mm thick
The charger's flat architecture targets a persistent constraint in European DC fast-charging deployment: installing high-power equipment where physical space is limited. Its design supports wall-mounted and embedded installation across urban streets, parking facilities, bus depots, truck depots and fleet sites.
Dual CCS2 connectors share power through intelligent allocation
A single connector on the BUDC can deliver up to 150 kW, while an intelligent power allocation system distributes available output when two vehicles charge simultaneously. The unit carries an IP65-rated enclosure for outdoor use, and its liquid-cooling system pairs with independently replaceable AC, DC and control modules to simplify maintenance.
CEO ties the design wins to operational efficiency for charge point operators

EVB's European offering spans certification and payment compliance
The BUDC sits within a broader EVB portfolio ranging from 3.7 kW AC chargers to 2,000 kW megawatt charging systems. Depending on model and project configuration, EVB's European lineup carries CE marking and TÜV certification, supports OCPP 1.6J/2.0.1 and ISO 15118 Plug & Charge, and can include MID-compliant metering along with credit, debit and contactless payment options for European CPOs and public charging networks.
