FlashGrid 26.05 Adds Support for Oracle AI Database 26ai on Cloud

Sunnyvale, Calif. – September 23, 2026 -- FlashGrid Inc. has released version 26.05 of FlashGrid Cluster and FlashGrid Server with support for Oracle AI Database 26ai, Oracle's next long-term support release, enabling enterprises to run the AI-native database platform on Oracle RAC across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Oracle AI Database 26ai brings over 300 new capabilities to enterprise workloads

Oracle AI Database 26ai integrates AI functions directly into the database engine, adding more than 300 new capabilities spanning artificial intelligence, developer productivity, performance, and mission-critical availability. Oracle designed the release to let organizations build AI-powered applications while retaining the security, governance, and transactional consistency standards of Oracle Database.

FlashGrid enables Oracle RAC on native cloud compute without proprietary database services

FlashGrid's architecture allows customers to deploy Oracle RAC on native cloud virtual machines across multiple Availability Zones, avoiding reliance on proprietary cloud database services. The platform supports active-active database clustering, automated deployment, high-performance shared storage infrastructure, and native cloud monitoring tooling. FlashGrid states organizations can achieve database uptime targets of 99.99%, 99.999%, or higher using these Multi-AZ, RAC-based architectures.

Self-service deployment of Oracle AI Database 26ai is now live via FlashGrid Launcher

Version 26.05 of the FlashGrid Launcher web-tool offers self-service Infrastructure-as-Code deployment of Oracle AI Database 26ai on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, available both as a RAC cluster and as a standalone server. FlashGrid positions the update as a bridge for organizations modernizing Oracle database estates by shifting mission-critical workloads to public cloud infrastructure while preserving existing Oracle licensing and operational control.
