Morrisville, N.C. – September 18, 2026 -- FloLogic, a plumbing leak detection subsidiary of Bradford White Corporation, has launched a wireless Remote I/O Module that eliminates the need for wired connections between its water shutoff systems and third-party devices.
Wireless module replaces legacy wired control panels
Previously, integrating FloLogic's leak detection and automatic water shutoff platform with external devices required a FloLogic Legacy Control Panel and a hardwired connection. The new Remote I/O module allows installers to place the unit anywhere on a property, communicating wirelessly with plumbing controls, alarm systems and home automation platforms through configurable input and output connections.
Module targets irrigation, pool, and hot water recirculation systems
The device supports integration with irrigation systems, water softeners, pool and fountain autofill systems, well pumps, hot water recirculation pumps, security systems, and third-party water sensors. Configurable inputs can authorize extended water use for specific devices to prevent nuisance shutoffs, while outputs can disable hot water recirculation pumps during a shutoff event or when a property is unoccupied, protecting equipment and improving water heating energy efficiency.
Design simplifies installation in large-scale properties
Because the module operates wirelessly, installers can mount it based on practical placement rather than existing wiring routes. FloLogic said this addresses installation challenges in larger homes, commercial buildings, multifamily properties and campuses where controlled equipment sits far from the main valve and local control module.
