FSS Launches AI Engine to Automate Bankruptcy Case Document Review

Houston – September 30, 2026 -- Financial Software Solutions (FSS) has released the FSS Intelligence Engine, an AI-powered tool designed to automate document review for bankruptcy trustees and fiduciaries. The technology targets one of the most time-intensive steps in case preparation: reviewing and analyzing multiple documents including ECF emails, bank statements, tax returns, and document checklists.

New engine extracts and prioritizes case data the moment paperwork arrives

The system automatically reads, analyzes, extracts, matches, and prioritizes information as soon as documents are uploaded, operating without manual intervention. FSS states the goal is to give trustees faster access to critical information and help move cases forward more efficiently.

Four features target specific bottlenecks in trustee workflows

The Daily Brief function reads and prioritizes ECF activity so urgent items surface first. Bank Statement Data Analysis examines statements upon upload to surface potential preference transfers, day-of-filing balances, and account balances. Tax Return Data Extraction feeds key data directly into pre-341 Review Reports, preparing trustees ahead of creditor meetings. Document Request Matching checks uploaded files against original document request lists to confirm requested items were received.

Customers report significant time savings in case preparation

Kristi Singal, President of Financial Software Solutions, said the four features have been well received by customers and are saving considerable case preparation time. The FSS Intelligence Engine is now available to users of the company's TrusteSolutions and CORE software platforms.
