Fuel Cycle Opens Navi Mumbai Global Capability Center for AI R&D

Navi Mumbai – September 23, 2026 -- Fuel Cycle, a US-based AI-powered consumer insights and market research platform, has opened a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, with an initial planned capacity of 50 employees and room to scale over coming quarters.

New hub targets engineering, AI and product development functions

The Navi Mumbai center will serve as a strategic hub for Engineering, AI and Product Development, working closely with teams across the US and other global markets. Fuel Cycle said it plans to invest in scaling the center, positioning it as a key part of its global product and technology organization.

Executive frames India as a product hub, not a delivery center

Daryush Laqab, Chief Product and AI Officer at Fuel Cycle, said the company views India as a strategic product and AI hub rather than simply a delivery location, adding that teams there will help shape technologies for the next generation of market research. He said Fuel Cycle intends to build deep capabilities in AI, engineering and product development in India over the coming years.

Hiring to span AI/ML, data engineering and cloud infrastructure roles

Fuel Cycle plans to hire talent across AI/ML, data engineering, product engineering, UX, research technology and cloud infrastructure at the new center. Over the next three to four years, the GCC is expected to take on greater ownership of global product development, supporting the company's roadmap for an AI-native, continuously learning consumer insights platform.

The expansion combines AI, research methodologies, owned customer communities and behavioral data into a connected platform, according to the company, as it seeks to help enterprises move from point-in-time research toward continuous, faster decision-making systems.
