New York – September 22, 2026 -- Grafine Partners has hired Suzanne Flannery as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Initiatives, a newly created role at the principal investment firm focused on the lower middle and middle market.
Flannery joins from Neuberger Berman to lead cross-firm strategic execution
Ms. Flannery will work across Grafine's investment, capital formation and operations teams as the firm seeks to institutionalize its platform and expand direct investment activity. She joins from Neuberger Berman, where she served as Managing Director and Head of Product Marketing Platform, leading a global team supporting the firm's investment offerings.
Twenty-plus years spans Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Monitor Group
Flannery previously spent nine years at Goldman Sachs in senior roles across portfolio management, client solutions and hedge fund investing. Earlier in her career she worked at J.P. Morgan and Monitor Group, building a track record across alternative investments, business strategy and institutional asset management.
Founder Elizabeth Weymouth frames hire as scaling move
Grafine Founder and Managing Partner Elizabeth Weymouth, who started the firm in 2019, said Flannery's combination of investment experience, strategic perspective and operating discipline would strengthen the firm's ability to serve investors as it grows. Weymouth said the hire supports scaling the platform while maintaining the performance and investor engagement central to Grafine's model.
Firm strategy centers on backing emerging sector-specialist PE managers
Grafine pursues alpha in the lower middle and middle market by partnering with sector-specialist investors launching new firms, investing alongside them based on their proprietary deal flow and domain expertise. Flannery holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Honors Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University.
