Grain Management Names Ex-Paul Weiss Partner Amran Hussein General Counsel

Washington – September 23, 2026 -- Grain Management has appointed Amran Hussein, a 23-year veteran of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, as General Counsel to lead its legal and governance functions and join the digital infrastructure investment firm's leadership team.

Based in New York, Hussein spent more than two decades at Paul, Weiss advising sponsors of private investment funds on formation, governance, secondary transactions, joint ventures, and investment management M&A. She has worked with Grain for more than a decade as outside counsel prior to this internal appointment.

Industry bodies have recognized Hussein's fund formation track record

Hussein was named a Fund Formation MVP by Law360 and received the "Best in Investment Funds" distinction at the Euromoney Americas Women in Business Law Awards. She has also been ranked by Chambers, The Legal 500, IFLR1000, Who's Who Legal, and Lawdragon for her private equity funds and investment management work.

Move follows Grain's push to broaden institutional infrastructure

The appointment comes as Grain, founded in 2007, expands its multi-strategy investment platform across fiber networks, data centers, wireless spectrum, cell towers, and managed and infrastructure services. Grain positioned the hire as reinforcement of its leadership team and institutional infrastructure as it pursues new growth opportunities in digital infrastructure.
