St. Louis – October 15, 2026 -- Graybar, the electrical, industrial, automation and connectivity products distributor, has won four Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards, three Featured awards and the Distribution Industry award from workplace-survey firm Energage for 2026.
This is the sixth consecutive year Graybar has received Culture Excellence awards. It is also the fifth consecutive year the company has won the Distribution Industry award. Graybar was one of just three distributors with more than 2,500 employees to receive the industry honor.
Graybar collects four Culture Excellence and three Featured awards
The Culture Excellence awards cover Work-Life Flexibility, Purpose & Values, Employee Well-Being and Professional Development.
The three Featured awards are Women-Led, Employee Appreciation and Frontline Workers. Women-Led recognizes organizations whose most senior leader is a woman. Frontline Workers honors companies that prioritize the needs, contributions and workplace experience of their frontline staff.
Energage ties winners to employee survey data on 15 culture drivers
Winners are determined by confidential employee feedback gathered through the Energage Workplace Survey. The survey measures 15 culture drivers that Energage says research has shown to be predictive of organizational performance. Results are benchmarked against the Energage national database of employer responses.
Earlier this year, Energage and USA TODAY named Graybar a 2026 Top Workplaces USA award winner for the sixth consecutive year.
CEO Mazzarella credits employee ownership for workplace culture
Kathleen M. Mazzarella, Graybar's chairman, president and chief executive officer, said employee ownership gives staff a personal connection to the company and a shared stake in its success.
Energage CEO Eric Rubino said leaders must ensure employees have a voice and are heard, adding that Top Workplaces do this and that it "pays dividends."
