GSTS Rebrands as OCIANA, Widens Maritime Intelligence Platform

Montreal -- September 01, 2026 -- Global Spatial Technology Solutions announced on Aug. 31, 2026 that it will now operate as OCIANA, unifying the company under the name of its flagship maritime intelligence platform. The rebrand covers all products, services and customer touchpoints, with GSTS.ca now redirecting to OCIANA.com. Richard Kolacz, chief executive of OCIANA, said the change marks the company's shift toward delivering maritime intelligence outcomes rather than only maritime domain awareness.

OCIANA Splits Its Platform Between Defense Agencies and Port Operators

For defense and security organizations, OCIANA fuses sensor data, historical trends and real-time feeds into a predictive intelligence layer. The system is built to help agencies flag behavior that warrants investigation, detect threats earlier, interpret intent faster and act across maritime, air and intelligence units.

For maritime supply chain organizations, OCIANA layers real-time data, predictive intelligence and coordination tools onto existing port and voyage management systems. By syncing vessel speed with port readiness, forecasting arrivals and flagging congestion before it causes delays, the platform is built to help ports speed up operations, cut emissions and improve resilience. "OCIANA helps organizations understand what happens next and determine what actions to take in response," Kolacz said.

Company Plans Multisensor Fusion and Deeper Agency Collaboration

GSTS said OCIANA will keep expanding its AI-driven maritime intelligence capabilities through further multisensor fusion, more reliable intelligence workflows and increased collaboration between agencies and allied partners. Future capabilities are intended to help operators move faster from detection to coordinated action while adding more transparency, explainability and confidence in AI-assisted decisions.

OCIANA Targets Phone and Paper Coordination Between Ports and Shipping Lines

The company also plans to expand OCIANA's connected maritime ecosystem for supply chain organizations, offering a single shared real-time view across ports, shipping lines and pilotage administrations instead of coordination by phone, email and paper documents. OCIANA connects to systems these organizations already use rather than replacing them, enabling more precise berth planning, faster processing of bookings and pilotage requests, reliable pre-arrival notices, coordinated voyage plans and consistent just-in-time arrivals.

Products and Customer Contact Points Stay the Same Under the New Name

GSTS.ca now redirects to OCIANA.com. The company said all products, services and points of contact remain unchanged, with only the corporate name and brand identity updated to match the platform name customers already use and trust.
