Halozyme Names Ex-Incyte Commercial Chief Jim Daly to Board

San Diego – September 30, 2026 -- Halozyme Therapeutics (Nasdaq: HALO) has appointed James "Jim" Daly to its Board of Directors, returning a veteran biopharmaceutical commercial executive to help steer the company's drug-delivery technology expansion.

Daly rejoins board after prior tenure, bringing three decades of launch experience

Daly previously served on Halozyme's board and has held senior commercial leadership roles at Incyte Corporation, Amgen and Glaxo Wellcome/GlaxoSmithKline. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Incyte from 2012 to 2015, following a decade at Amgen where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, North America Commercial Operations, Global Marketing and Commercial Development. Earlier, he spent more than 16 years at Glaxo Wellcome/GlaxoSmithKline, including as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. respiratory business.

CEO cites Daly's track record in launching blockbuster respiratory, oncology and immunology therapies

Dr. Helen Torley, Halozyme's President and CEO, said Daly's commercial expertise and governance experience will support the company's push to expand the number of products using its subcutaneous delivery technologies, including ENHANZE, and its two hyperconcentration technologies, Hypercon and Aerocon.

Daly currently sits on boards at Acadia Pharmaceuticals, Madrigal Pharmaceuticals and Cytokinetics

He has also previously served on the boards of argenx, Bellicum Pharmaceuticals and Chimerix. Daly holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and an M.B.A. from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.

ENHANZE technology has reached more than one million patients across over 100 global markets

Halozyme's ENHANZE platform is licensed to pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners including Roche, Takeda, Pfizer, Janssen, AbbVie, Eli Lilly, Bristol-Myers Squibb, argenx, ViiV Healthcare, Chugai Pharmaceutical, Acumen Pharmaceuticals, Merus N.V., GSK and Incyte, spanning ten commercialized products. The company's newer Hypercon technology has been licensed to partners including Janssen, Eli Lilly, argenx, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Oruka Therapeutics.
