San Jose, California – September 11, 2026 -- Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) launched cOS SensAI, a vendor-agnostic, software-based intelligence platform designed to unify fragmented network data for broadband operators, with Analysys Mason estimating the addressable market at approximately $2.2 billion annually among Tier 2 and smaller broadband service providers.
SensAI consolidates data from thousands of disparate network sources into a single operational model
The platform builds a continuously updated, real-time model of a provider's operational ecosystem, correlating signals across network devices, tools, applications and customer premise equipment. It aims to replace the manual process of pulling data from a dozen separate systems, a task Hotwire Communications CTO Pragash Pillai described as tedious and time-consuming prior to deployment.
Early deployments show faster fault resolution at Hotwire Communications and GCI
Pillai said SensAI provides clear, traceable reasoning behind each diagnosis, which has helped Hotwire's NOC and engineering teams resolve issues significantly faster while integrating with existing systems. At GCI, which serves remote areas across Alaska, CTO Troy Goldie said the platform is designed to guide technicians directly to both the location and the solution of a problem, reducing response times. Goldie added the company expects SensAI to lower repeat-incident rates, which it views as a systematic validation of network performance.
Analysys Mason frames SensAI as a foundational layer for AI-driven network reliability
Senior analyst Joseph Attwood said broadband providers need an integrated intelligence platform to fully capture AI's potential for improving network reliability and user experience. He said SensAI allows operators to collect data from diverse sources, replace fragmented tools, and achieve the visibility needed to correlate signals across devices and systems.
Harmonic positions the platform to cut technician visits and operating costs
The company states SensAI is intended to simplify incident triage, close operator skills gaps, and convert per-subscriber data into fewer truck rolls and reduced wasted effort. Harmonic CEO Nimrod Ben-Natan said the platform was developed in collaboration with leading broadband providers and is intended to serve operators of any size.
Harmonic will showcase SensAI at two industry events this month
The company will present the platform at Connected Britain on September 9-10 at booth J25, and at SCTE TechExpo in Atlanta from September 29 to October 1 at booth A153.
