Harmonic Launches cOS SensAI, Targets $2.2B Broadband Intelligence Market

San Jose – September 12, 2026 -- Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) unveiled cOS SensAI, a vendor-agnostic, software-driven intelligence infrastructure designed to consolidate fragmented broadband network data into a single operational layer. Analysys Mason estimates the total addressable market for SensAI at approximately $2.2 billion annually within Tier-2 and smaller broadband provider segments.

SensAI unifies data from thousands of network sources into one real-time model

The platform builds a continuously updated model of a provider's operational ecosystem, correlating signals across network devices, tools, and customer-premises equipment. It aims to replace manual triage across a dozen or more disparate systems with automated, explainable diagnostics, while progressively automating repetitive operational workflows.

Hotwire Communications and GCI report faster issue resolution in field trials

Pragash Pillai, Chief Technology Officer at Hotwire Communications, said SensAI ingests data and delivers a clear, traceable rationale for each diagnosis, helping NOC and engineering teams resolve problems significantly faster while integrating with existing systems. Troy Goldie, Chief Technology Officer at GCI, which serves remote communities across Alaska, said the platform is built not only to direct technicians to a problem's location but also to indicate the fix, reducing dispatch time and expected repeat-trouble rates -- a key indicator of overall network health.

Harmonic executives position SensAI as the next phase of proactive broadband operations

Nimrod Ben-Natan, President and CEO of Harmonic, said operators can now shift from reactively switching between dashboards to using data for actionable, forward-looking insight, adding that SensAI was developed in collaboration with leading broadband service providers.

Analysys Mason says unified data infrastructure is prerequisite for AI-driven network gains

Joseph Attwood, senior analyst at Analysys Mason, said broadband providers need the right foundational platform to capture AI's full potential for reliability and customer experience, noting SensAI's role in replacing fragmented tools with end-to-end visibility across disparate devices and systems.

Harmonic outlines three operational outcomes for adopters

The company said SensAI is designed to simplify triage and close skills gaps so operations teams spend less time on acute issues, enable proactive action on service-quality risks before customers notice problems, and reduce truck rolls through customer-level insights to cut operational costs.

Harmonic will showcase SensAI at two industry events this fall

The platform is being presented at Connected Britain on September 9-10 at booth J25, and will appear at SCTE TechExpo in Atlanta from September 29 to October 1 at booth A153.
