NEW YORK – September 04, 2026 -- Haut.AI has commercially launched Hair Analysis, an AI-powered hair assessment tool that converts a smartphone selfie and short questionnaire into personalized haircare product recommendations for beauty brands and retailers worldwide.
Technology evaluates six visible hair traits in under one minute
The tool combines computer-vision analysis of hair curvature, density, volume, frizz level, color and color uniformity with consumer-reported routine and concern data. The full assessment takes less than one minute to complete via smartphone.
Platform maps recommendations across 19 concerns and 12 product categories
Resulting hair profiles are matched to products addressing 19 concerns, including dryness, hair loss, chemical damage, dandruff and oily scalp, spanning 12 categories from shampoos and conditioners to masks, oils and styling products.
Grupo Boticário co-developed the technology as launch partner
Hair Analysis was built in collaboration with Grupo Boticário following the Brazilian beauty company's strategic investment in Haut.AI, pairing Haut.AI's computer-vision capabilities with Grupo Boticário's haircare science and consumer-insight expertise. "Hair needs are incredibly diverse, and Haut.AI has developed a solution that translates that complexity into an experience that helps consumers identify products suited to their individual needs," said Gustavo Dieamant, Executive Director of R&D at Grupo Boticário.
SaaS integration lets existing skin-analysis clients add hair personalization
Delivered through Haut.AI's SaaS infrastructure, Hair Analysis integrates into brands' digital commerce platforms, allowing companies to manage product catalogs, configure recommendation logic and extract consumer insights from analysis data. Brands already using Haut.AI for skin analysis can add the hair module on the same platform.
Launch extends Haut.AI's personalization suite to face, body and hair
Hair Analysis joins Haut.AI's existing Face Analysis 3.0 and Body Analysis offerings, giving beauty brands, pharmacy groups and retailers a single technology platform covering three personalization categories across digital and in-store channels.
