Munich – September 18, 2026 -- Hexnode, the enterprise software division of Mitsogo, unveiled Hexnode Synapse at its HexCon26 user conference, an agentic orchestration layer designed to coordinate IT and security actions across multiple enterprise systems from a single governed workflow.
Synapse turns fragmented IT handoffs into one automated sequence
Apu Pavithran, CEO and Founder of Hexnode, said IT tasks such as onboarding or threat response typically require manual coordination across identity systems, devices and HR platforms, with a person connecting each step every time. Synapse is built to eliminate that manual bridging by having specialist AI agents reason through requests and execute actions within defined limits.
Three specialist agents anchor the initial system
At launch, Synapse includes a Device Agent for root-cause diagnostics, compliance-drift remediation, patch management and device provisioning; an Identity Agent for access requests, lifecycle operations and role changes; and a Threat Agent for alert triage, investigation and containment. Organizations can also build custom agents tied to their own tools and knowledge bases.
A single onboarding prompt triggers a multi-system workflow
In one example cited by Hexnode, the prompt "Onboard John" pulls the employee's HR profile to create an identity, assign app licenses by department, push zero-touch device and endpoint protection configurations in parallel, and log the corresponding IT ticket. If a step stalls, such as a license shortage, Synapse automatically raises a ticket and resumes provisioning once a seat becomes available.
Guardrails and approval gates route sensitive actions to human approvers
Actions such as device wipes, endpoint isolation or privileged access changes require sign-off from a named approver before execution. Every action, autonomous or approved, is logged in an Execution Centre that IT and security teams can browse and export, reducing audit preparation to a data download rather than a manual evidence search.
Synapse integrates with ServiceNow, Zendesk, Microsoft Entra ID and BambooHR at launch
The platform draws native context from Hexnode's own UEM, XDR and IdP products and extends into these four external systems, with Hexnode planning to expand the integration catalog and agent capabilities in future phases. Hexnode Synapse will enter invite-only trial later this year, with registration open for interested organizations.
