Munich – September 23, 2026 -- Hofbräu Munich has equipped its brewery logistics operation with more than 20 noax industrial touch panel PCs, eliminating lost orders and downtime during peak demand periods such as Oktoberfest.

Jürgen Breitsameter, Head of Logistics and Purchasing at Hofbräu Munich, said the terminals have become the backbone of the operation, ensuring every barrel reaches its destination on schedule during the festival's high-volume service periods. Since introducing the forklift-mounted terminals, the brewery has significantly reduced downtime and improved process reliability across receiving and delivery.
Real-time data replaces unreliable legacy technology
Prior to switching to noax, Hofbräu Munich frequently experienced lost connections and equipment failures that caused orders to disappear. The current setup delivers real-time data for warehouse management and transparent order processing, while preconfigured devices allowed for immediate deployment without extended setup time. Operators can run the touch panels while wearing gloves, and displays automatically switch off when vehicles are in motion and reactivate on startup.
Rugged design withstands shocks, vibration and temperature swings
The terminals operate reliably in both indoor and outdoor brewery environments, tolerating constant vibration and fluctuating temperatures inherent to logistics floors. Their rugged construction has cut maintenance requirements and removed the equipment failures that previously disrupted order flow. Breitsameter noted that staff can now focus fully on operational tasks without factoring in technology reliability as a variable.
