HYLAN Golf Tournament Raises $75,000 for Pediatric Cancer Nonprofit

HOLMDEL, N.J. – October 01, 2026 -- HYLAN, a full-service communications and electrical infrastructure provider, raised $75,000 for pediatric cancer nonprofit Liv Like a Unicorn at its eighth annual golf tournament, pushing the company's total charitable contributions past $500,000.

The September 28 event at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, New Jersey, gathered HYLAN's partner network to support Liv Like a Unicorn, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Freehold that funds research into pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors and assists families during treatment.

Eight years of fundraising push HYLAN's total giving above $500,000

This year's $75,000 contribution brings HYLAN's cumulative charitable donations to more than half a million dollars since the tournament's inception, according to the company.

Foundation founder Emma Lipnicky recounts daughter's battle with brain cancer

Emma Lipnicky, Founder and Executive Director of Liv Like a Unicorn, addressed attendees at the evening reception, describing the illness and death of her daughter Olivia "Liv" Lipnicky at age 8, whose vision led to the foundation's creation.

Robert DiLeo, CEO and Chairman of HYLAN, said the account "reaffirmed why we gather for this tournament year after year" and credited sponsor generosity for the $75,000 total.

Corporate sponsors anchor the tournament's fundraising structure

SiteTracker served as Gold Sponsor, Archtype as Silver Sponsor, while United Rentals, Wells Fargo Advisors, United Fuel and MW8 Entertainment backed the event as Bronze Sponsors. Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz of Edison sponsored a Hole-in-One contest held during the course competitions.
