IceCure's ProSense Reports 97.5% Response Rate at EUSOBI 2026

Caesarea, Israel – October 13, 2026 -- IceCure Medical (Nasdaq: ICCM) reported 12-month objective response rates of 97.5% among 40 breast cancer patients treated with ProSense® cryoablation plus endocrine therapy, and 91.7% among 24 patients treated with cryoablation alone, at the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

ProSense features in two scientific sessions at the Maastricht meeting

Dr. Lucía Graña-López of Lugo, Spain, presented the clinical potential of cryoablation in "Beyond Biopsy: Image-Guided Therapy in Practice," part of the session "From Target to Treatment: Breast Interventions."

Dr. Francesca Pugliese of Florence, Italy, presented findings on local tumor control in elderly breast cancer patients ineligible for surgery. Her study compared cryoablation alone with cryoablation combined with hormonal therapy. It was delivered in the session on advances in image-guided breast intervention and minimally invasive therapy.

Two IceCure workshops draw nearly 70 participants each

The company hosted two clinical workshops led by Dr. Graña-López and Dr. Federica Di Naro of Florence, Italy. The first, "From Freeze to Future: Cryoablation as a New Frontier in De-Escalated Breast Cancer Care," addressed treatment strategy. The second, "Reading the Freeze: Practical Imaging Interpretation After Breast Cancer Cryoablation," covered post-procedure imaging. Each attracted nearly 70 participants.

ProSense users present two scientific posters on outcomes and imaging

Dr. Georgiana-Cristiana Camen of Romania presented single-center efficacy and safety results, covering initial experience through one-year outcomes, for percutaneous cryoablation of breast lesions. Dr. Pugliese presented a poster on the role of negative contrast enhancement mammography (CEM) in predicting histological response after breast cryoablation.

FDA clearance defines the current U.S. indication

ProSense is the first and only device cleared by the FDA for local treatment of breast cancer in patients aged 70 and older with biologically low-risk tumors of 1.5 cm or smaller who receive adjuvant endocrine therapy, including patients not eligible for surgery.

IceCure CEO Eyal Shamir said the response at EUSOBI, including live demonstrations, was outstanding and reflected growing momentum behind breast cancer cryoablation in Europe.
