ICP DAS Unveils Redundant iTLC-9000 Traffic Control System at APTA 2026

Hsinchu – September 22, 2026 -- ICP DAS will demonstrate its iTLC-9000 Series Redundant Multifunctional Traffic Signal Control System at APTA 2026 TRANSform & EXPO, running October 4–7 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The company will occupy Booth 4625, running a live simulated intersection where the iTLC-9000 operates two actual sets of traffic signals in real time.

System supports up to 16 signal phases across 32-way intersections
The iTLC-9000 uses a fully modular, redundant architecture with hot-swappable modules to minimize maintenance downtime. It includes rapid primary/backup controller switchover, real-time abnormal status alerts, proactive maintenance functions, cybersecurity protections for networked infrastructure, and a color touchscreen interface.

AI video analytics target emergency response and violation detection
ICP DAS will also show an AI-powered traffic solution built on NVIDIA GPU technology that analyzes live video feeds to assess traffic flow, detect approaching emergency vehicles, and identify violations with license plate recognition. The data feeds into the iTLC-9000 to optimize signal timing and accelerate operational response for smart city deployments.

Booth showcases a broader intelligent transportation hardware ecosystem
Alongside the iTLC-9000, ICP DAS will display the WISE-5231 Edge Computing Controller, PET-7016M Ethernet Remote I/O Module, MDC-714 Modbus Data Concentrator, DL-1038-WF Environmental Monitoring Module, ALM-Horn-WF-BR Piezoelectric Alarm Horn, and iTLC-LC-NOD-01/02 Light Control Unit Modules, positioning the lineup as a full-stack platform for traffic control, monitoring, communication, and edge computing.
