IEEE's Technology Megatrends 2030 Report, based on input from 168 technical experts across 38 countries, found that technologies most likely to scale at a societal level are those built on trust, explainability, and safe human-AI interaction rather than those optimized purely for speed. The finding underscores demand for human-centered guardrails across the global workforce as enterprises deploy AI at scale.
