Pittsburgh – October 07, 2026 -- An InventHelp client has filed a patent application for the Hammersmith Rifle, Model SG 25, an ambidextrous service rifle platform designed to be reconfigured by individual operators for fit and field conditions, and is now seeking manufacturers or marketers for licensing.
Design targets user-specific fit and recoil management
The Model SG 25 features an adjustable side-folding stock and a pistol grip that can be set to the shooter's preferred length of pull and hand size. An adjustable gas and operating system lets operators tune the weapon to their recoil tolerance and to varying environmental conditions.
Inventor cites gaps in mass-production weapon platforms
The inventor, based in Hopewell, Va., said existing service rifles lack adaptability for individual users and operating environments, prompting the design of a platform intended to improve on current mass-production weapon systems in durability, reliability and configurability.
Submission routed through InventHelp's Richmond office for licensing
The original design was submitted to InventHelp's Richmond sales office and is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. Inquiries can be directed to InventHelp at 100 Beecham Drive, Suite 110, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-9801, under reference Dept. 25-RKH-1270.
