Pittsburgh – September 19, 2026 -- A patent-pending concrete-screeding machine designed to cut sidewalk-finishing crews from three workers to one has been submitted for licensing through InventHelp's national sales office.
Inventor targets labor reduction on concrete finishing crews
The inventor, based in Westford, N.Y., developed the Non-Vibrating Self-Propelled Sidewalk Screed Machine to automate the screeding step in concrete surfacing, a process traditionally requiring multiple hand laborers to maintain consistent finish quality.
Design targets contractors working with difficult mix specifications
The self-propelled unit is built for single-operator use, aiming to reduce both labor headcount and reliance on assistant crew members during pours. The company states the machine is compatible with New York State sidewalk mix designs as well as other difficult-to-work concrete mix formulations (PEM), positioning it for use by building construction contractors, concrete finishing crews and installation teams.
Invention now open for manufacturer and marketer licensing
The design has been filed as patent-pending and is currently available for licensing or outright sale to manufacturers or marketers through InventHelp, under reference Dept. 25-TLP-200.
