Jiaozhou – September 23, 2026 -- Jiaozhou, an industrial city in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, is converting manufacturing sites into tourist attractions, with more than 15,000 industrial enterprises and over 1,000 above designated size operating in the city, the highest count among cities of its tier in the province.

Qingdao Dengta Flavoring and Food Co., Ltd., which traces its brewing craftsmanship back 120 years, has built a museum and a condiment-themed science park where visitors make condiments and sample soy sauce- and vinegar-flavored ice cream. The park has hosted more than 100 events -- including study tours, team-building activities, cultural performances and business promotions -- generating a steady monthly visitor flow of around 1,200 and creating spillover business for local agricultural and catering operators.
