Kohler Co. Names Nina Kohler CEO of Hospitality Amid Expansion

Kohler – October 13, 2026 -- Kohler Co. has appointed Nina Kohler Chief Executive Officer – Hospitality, effective immediately, to run a portfolio across Kohler, Wisconsin; St. Andrews, Scotland; Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Chicago, Illinois. She takes charge of strategy, growth, talent and guest experience as the company advances a multi-year investment in its flagship Wisconsin destination.

Kohler Hospitality reports record results in 2024 and 2025

The company reported consecutive years of record performance in 2024 and 2025. For the past four years, Nina Kohler worked as a consultant and strategic advisor to Kohler Hospitality, advising its leadership team on strategy, brand positioning, design and guest experience. Her work, according to the company, shaped the business's long-term direction and modernization, building on its championship golf reputation while developing wellness, dining and year-round recreation.

David Kohler, Chair and CEO of Kohler Co., said she combines a clear commercial vision with a discerning eye for design.

Completed Wisconsin projects add wellness, dining and racquet sports capacity

The completed investments in Wisconsin include:

  • Renovation of the Forbes Five-Star Kohler Waters Spa.
  • Conversion of The Carriage House into an adults-only wellness retreat with 55 redesigned guest rooms.
  • Reopening of Woodlake Market as a gourmet marketplace and food hall featuring regional food and Wisconsin makers.
  • Opening of The Serve, a year-round racquet sports complex with indoor pickleball, outdoor platform tennis and a social lounge.
Next phase adds 66 rooms, an entertainment venue and a 14-hole course

The next phase includes an expansion and renovation of the Inn on Woodlake that adds 66 guest rooms and suites. It also covers Bucks & Birdies, a venue combining interactive golf and racing simulators, duckpin bowling, dining and social spaces.

The third project is Purebred Farm, a 14-hole golf course designed by King Collins Dormer, west of Blackwolf Run. The name recalls the former Kohler Farms cattle operation.

Nina Kohler will work with the Hospitality leadership team to oversee these investments and the performance and long-term direction of the broader portfolio. She said the opportunity is to give people enduring reasons to return, not simply to add more.

Hospitality unit traces roots to 1918 employee housing

The American Club opened in 1918 as housing for immigrant employees of Kohler Co. It reopened as a resort hotel in 1981 under Herbert V. Kohler Jr.

Nina Kohler also sits on the board of Old Course Ltd., chairs PGA REACH, the philanthropic arm of the PGA of America, and serves as a trustee of Vanderbilt University and a director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sheboygan County.
