Körber Jumps to EcoVadis Platinum, Cuts Emissions 14% in 2025

Hamburg, Germany – September 04, 2026 -- Körber AG has achieved Platinum status in the 2026 EcoVadis sustainability rating, moving up from Gold a year earlier and placing the global technology company in the top 1 percent of all firms assessed worldwide.

The result marks Körber's fourth consecutive EcoVadis assessment and the first time it has reached the top tier across all four rated categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

Körber cut greenhouse gas emissions by 14 percent in 2025

Emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 fell 14 percent compared with 2024, according to the company's Sustainability Report 2025. Körber also calculated the CO2e footprint for all machines delivered to customers in its Business Area Technologies for the first time in 2025, adding transparency to material-based product emissions. The company deployed Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to strengthen its data infrastructure for tracking sustainability metrics, part of its push toward a net-zero value chain by 2040.

Suppliers launched 314 ESG risk-reduction plans in 2025

Together with suppliers, Körber initiated 314 development plans aimed at reducing human rights and ESG risks in 2025, of which 83 have already been completed. The company also introduced a new group-wide guideline on health and occupational safety covering its sites globally.

Cyber Defense Center now monitors over 90 percent of IT infrastructure

On governance, Körber reported that more than 90 percent of its IT infrastructure is monitored around the clock by its Cyber Defense Center, with full coverage of all business-critical areas. The company received a Platinum rating in the CyberVadis cybersecurity assessment for the second time in 2026.

EcoVadis ratings are increasingly cited by customers and business partners in tenders and supply-chain qualification processes, raising the commercial weight of sustainability scores for industrial suppliers.
