Seoul – September 23, 2026 -- KT&G Corporation closed its participation in InterTabac 2026, the world's largest tobacco trade fair, after operating an exhibition booth roughly four times larger than its 2025 footprint at the Dortmund, Germany event held September 15-17.

KT&G expands booth fourfold to showcase combustible and next-generation product lines

The Korean manufacturer organized its expanded space into four themed zones by product category, displaying combustible cigarette brands ESSE and BOHEM alongside next-generation products (NGP), vapor devices and nicotine pouches. InterTabac drew roughly 800 companies from more than 70 countries across 12 exhibition halls this year.

ESSE brand crosses KRW 1 trillion in overseas sales, captures third of global superslim segment

KT&G's flagship superslim brand ESSE surpassed KRW 1 trillion in overseas sales last year and is now distributed in more than 90 countries, accounting for approximately one-third of global superslim cigarette sales. BOHEM, differentiated by its use of cigar leaf, is concentrated primarily in Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets.

Company holds buyer meetings to secure new distribution partnerships

KT&G used the trade fair to conduct business meetings with global partners and buyers focused on collaboration opportunities in key markets, supplementing the sessions with brand content and on-site programs for visitors. A company official said the fair provides a platform to expand its global network and explore new industry opportunities, adding that KT&G will build on this year's participation to strengthen its market presence.

As of the end of 2025, KT&G brands were sold across 140 countries worldwide.
