Grapevine, Texas – September 28, 2026 -- Kubota Tractor Corporation has named ten community nonprofits as winners of its 2026 Hometown Proud grant program, each receiving $25,000 in cash and $25,000 toward Kubota equipment purchases, totaling $500,000 in combined funding and machinery across the country.
Program draws more than 1,100 applications in its sixth year
Kubota's review process selected 10 winners from over 1,100 submissions, covering agricultural education, workforce development, food security, youth empowerment and environmental stewardship projects. Since the program launched, Kubota has distributed more than $2.9 million in total funding and equipment to hometown initiatives nationwide.
Local dealers pair with each nonprofit as equipment partners
Each winning organization is matched with a regional Kubota dealer that supplies equipment expertise beyond the grant period. Sink Farm Equipment will supply a compact tractor to The Armored Church in Salisbury, N.C. for a 20-acre veterans' community garden, while State Equipment, Inc. will provide a Kubota M4 utility tractor to Helpful Harvest Food Bank in Athens, W.Va. to expand fresh food production.
Grants fund equipment ranging from tractors to zero-turn mowers
Winners include Galloway Family Farm & Education Center in Ocean Springs, Miss., which will use a sub-compact tractor for its Adopt-a-Row ag-education project with Lee Tractor Company, and REACH Inc. in Klamath Falls, Ore., which will deploy new mowers with Pelican Tractor to grow its landscape training program for adults with developmental disabilities. Moncus Park in Lafayette, La. will use a compact tractor from Sammy Broussard Equipment Center to enhance native habitat access, while Osseo Community Foundation in Wisconsin will use a utility vehicle from Johnson Tractor to revitalize Stoddard Park.

Additional winners span Massachusetts to Texas
Friends of Greenfield Recreation in Massachusetts will receive a Kubota RTV via M.B. Tractor & Equipment for volunteer mobilization, and HALTER in Spartanburg, S.C. will use an RTV from Blue Water Equipment Group to maintain equine-assisted service facilities. Impact Activity Center in Boonville, Mo. will restore a historic school site with equipment from Farm Power Lawn & Leisure, while Winding Branch Ranch in Bulverde, Texas will expand agricultural education with a utility vehicle from Ewald Kubota.
