CHAM, Switzerland -- September 01, 2026 -- EYKON unveiled its new corporate brand on Aug. 31, 2026, completing the separation of the former Landis+Gyr EMEA business into an independent utility infrastructure technology company. The Cham-based firm carries forward more than 130 years of Swiss utility engineering history under its new name. EYKON currently serves customers across more than 75 markets and supports over 100 million connected endpoints in the EMEA region.
EYKON completes its split from Landis+Gyr's EMEA operations
The rebrand formalizes a transition announced earlier in 2026, when the EYKON name was first introduced. The company now operates as a standalone entity built on the technology base, installed infrastructure and local teams inherited from Landis+Gyr's EMEA division. EYKON retains the operational footprint of one of the largest installed bases of utility infrastructure technology in the region.

Utilities push to extract more value from networks already in place
