SHERIDAN, WYOMING – September 26, 2024 – Lavigne, a member of the Clairefontaine Group in France and a leading provider of calendars, stationery, greeting cards, and promotional items, has chosen the Ricoh Pro Z75 B2+ sheetfed inkjet press to accelerate its business growth and enhance productivity.

Recognizing the advantages of digital printing early on, Lavigne has consistently invested in digital printing systems to improve production flexibility and responsiveness. The Ricoh Pro Z75, a B2+ duplex sheetfed inkjet press with water-based inks, is the latest addition to their production printing portfolio.

"Our developers have created an exceptional press that combines high color gamut, efficient B2 duplex printing, and outstanding TCO, making it ideal for the transition from offset to digital," said Sander Sondaal, Director, Commercial Print Sales, Ricoh Europe Graphic Communications.

The Ricoh Pro Z75 offers the benefits of a sheetfed press with the low production costs and high productivity of inkjet technology. Its exceptional print quality, fast turnaround times, and minimal staffing requirements enable Lavigne to double its production capacity.

With its patented drying technology, the Ricoh Pro Z75 streamlines the entire production process by eliminating waiting times between printing and finishing. Additionally, Lavigne can now shift the production of calendars and notebooks to the inkjet press, thanks to its automatic B2+ duplex printing capabilities. The wide range of printable paper thicknesses further allows Lavigne to offer high-quality service to its customers while meeting increasingly tight deadlines.

Sondaal expressed confidence in the Ricoh Pro Z75's contribution to Lavigne's development, stating, "I am convinced that the Ricoh Pro Z75 will make an important contribution to Lavigne's development and pave the way for a more sustainable future in an ever-changing printing market." He further highlighted the press's unmatched print quality, performance, and automation, emphasizing Ricoh's excitement about the collaboration.

This installation marks the second Pro Z75 press installed by Ricoh in France, underscoring the growing adoption of this innovative technology in the region.
