Los Angeles – – October 01, 2026 -- Legacy Distribution has acquired global content distributor Vision Films, merging two catalogs spanning feature films, documentaries, TV series and reality programming into a single operating entity under the Vision Films name.
Dana Webber takes CEO role of combined company
Dana Webber, CEO and Managing Partner of Legacy Distribution, will lead the expanded business, which will continue operating under the Vision Films brand. Lise Romanoff, founder and Managing Director of Vision Films, moves into a consultant role and will represent the company at the American Film Market in November.
Merged library targets distribution in more than 190 countries
Vision Films' catalog has reached audiences in over 190 countries across theatrical, digital and broadcast platforms, and the company functions as a direct supplier to major global TVOD, SVOD and AVOD platforms. Vision's titles include feature films such as "Murder Between Friends," "Tango Shalom" and "Walt Before Mickey," alongside documentaries including "Hired Gun" and "Gandhi." New releases scheduled under the merged entity include "Pinball: Beyond The Bumpers" and "Line of Control."
Legacy Distribution contributes a catalog built around true-crime series including "Crime Stories" and "Bounty Hunters," alongside feature films such as "Wake" and "Crazylove," and documentaries including "Michael Jackson: Ungloved" and "Tina Turner: Simply the Best."
Transaction backed by senior lender California Bank & Trust
California Bank & Trust served as senior lender to Legacy Distribution in the acquisition. The Mager Law Firm acted as exclusive legal advisor and Errol Antzis as exclusive investment consultant to Legacy Distribution, while Harris Tulchin & Associates served as exclusive legal advisor to Vision Films.
Vision Films has historically released two to four new titles each month across theatrical, digital and broadcast channels.
