Lightspeed Launches On Deck Tool to Auto-Fill Cancelled Tee Times

Montréal – September 18, 2026 -- Lightspeed Commerce Inc. (NYSE: LSPD) (TSX: LSPD) has launched On Deck, a new feature within its Lightspeed Golf booking platform that automatically matches golfers to newly available tee times freed up by cancellations or rescheduling.

Golfers can now flag preferred time windows for automated matching

Through the Lightspeed Golf booking experience, golfers set up an On Deck request for a preferred tee time or window. When a matching slot opens due to a cancellation or change by the original booker, the system sends an automated email offering the opportunity to book it, removing the need for manual, repeated checking.

Courses gain a tool to recover lost revenue from cancellations

For golf courses, an unfilled tee time represents lost revenue not only from green fees but also from ancillary spending on cart rentals, pro shop purchases, and food and beverage sales. On Deck is designed to help courses improve occupancy, recapture revenue from last-minute cancellations, and cut the manual staff effort typically required to manage rebooking demand.

Feature integrates directly into existing tee sheet, avoiding new systems

On Deck operates within the existing Lightspeed Golf booking experience and tee sheet, allowing course operators to manage demand fluctuations without adopting a separate system or altering existing workflows.

Rollout pairs with Tee Time Reminders to reduce no-shows

On Deck launches alongside Tee Time Reminders, a feature that sends golfers an automated email 48 hours ahead of a booking to confirm or edit their reservation. Lightspeed said it plans to continue expanding On Deck to help golf courses capture additional booking opportunities and improve golfer experience.
