Indianapolis – October 18, 2026 -- Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) will present first Phase 1 data for its investigational FRα-targeting antibody-drug conjugate sofetabart mipitecan (Sofe-M) in platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer (PSOC) at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, October 23–27 in Madrid, alongside updated data across lung, thyroid and breast cancer programs.
Sofe-M plus bevacizumab data in PSOC backs ongoing Phase 3 trial
Lilly will give a rapid oral presentation on the first Phase 1 results for Sofe-M combined with bevacizumab in PSOC. The company says the data support the ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial of Sofe-M in PSOC.
Sofe-M has Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). It is being evaluated in the Phase 3 FRAmework-01 study, run in partnership with ENGOT (lead groups GINECO/NOGGO e.V.), the GOG Foundation and the Asia-Pacific Gynecologic Oncology Trials Group. The drug pairs an FRα-specific antibody with the topoisomerase I inhibitor exatecan through a cleavable polysarcosine linker, and was designed to target FRα across all expression levels.
Olomorasib first-line lung cancer analysis combines two trials
A second rapid oral presentation covers an updated integrated analysis from the Phase 1/2 LOXO-RAS-20001 trial and the safety lead-in of the Phase 3 SUNRAY-01 trial. The analysis assesses olomorasib with pembrolizumab, pemetrexed and platinum chemotherapy as first-line treatment for advanced or metastatic KRAS G12C-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Lilly says the data support the ongoing Phase 3 program in this setting.
KRAS G12C mutations occur in 13% of NSCLC patients and in 1–3% of patients with other solid tumors, according to the company. Olomorasib is an oral, second-generation inhibitor with potential for more than 90% target occupancy.
Retevmo LIBRETTO-531 update targets kinase inhibitor-naïve RET-mutant MTC
In a proffered paper, Lilly will present updated Phase 3 LIBRETTO-531 results comparing Retevmo (selpercatinib) with cabozantinib or vandetanib in advanced, kinase inhibitor-naïve, RET-mutant medullary thyroid cancer. Lilly states these data have supported global approvals of Retevmo in this setting.
Verzenio postMONARCH overall survival data heads to rapid oral session
A rapid oral presentation will report overall survival data from the Phase 3 postMONARCH trial of Verzenio (abemaciclib) plus fulvestrant in HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer after progression on a prior CDK4/6 inhibitor and endocrine therapy. Lilly says the results support the abemaciclib plus imlunestrant findings from the EMBER-3 trial and add to evidence for switching endocrine therapy and CDK4/6 inhibitor at progression.
Jacob Van Naarden, executive vice president and president of Lilly Oncology, said the PSOC data build on results in platinum-resistant disease and mark a critical step as FRAmework-01 advances across both settings. He described the olomorasib first-line data as very promising, with clinical activity and safety consistent with earlier findings.
