Linewize EdTech Manager Wins Award, Launches Screen Time Reporting

Charlotte, N.C. – October 01, 2026 -- Linewize, the North American division of Qoria, has won the Primary Education category of the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Back to School 2026 for its EdTech Manager platform, while simultaneously launching the product's new Screen Time reporting feature nationwide this month.

EdTech Manager gives districts device-level visibility from classroom to student

The platform allows IT leaders and administrators to track daily screen time at the district, school, grade and individual student level, including splits between time spent at school versus at home. It also tracks app inventory, approval status, license costs, adoption rates and data privacy agreement compliance.

New Screen Time feature responds to state legislative reporting mandates

The newly launched Screen Time reporting tool lets districts meet state-level screen time thresholds and produce documentation for school boards and parents. A Share of Screen Time report identifies which apps drive the most device usage and which schools or grades show the heaviest use, while student-level drill-downs support parent conversations and targeted interventions.

App Directory creates a single compliance record for approved software

The App Directory feature enables districts to publish one shareable list of approved apps, giving parents, school boards and auditors a consistent reference point. The system also flags unused, expired or low-usage software licenses, helping administrators identify wasted technology spend and target staff training where adoption lags.

Harrison Parker says districts need data, not guesswork, on device use

"District leaders are being asked harder questions than ever about how students spend their time on devices, and they need real answers, not guesswork," said Harrison Parker, Executive Vice President of Linewize. He said the tool is designed to keep technology spending aligned with learning and student wellbeing outcomes.

Tech & Learning judges cite visibility gains across school networks

Tech & Learning, which has run its Awards of Excellence program for more than four decades, judged the submission through a panel of education technology experts. One judge noted that EdTech Manager "gives us valuable visibility into how technology is being used across our schools."
