Linyi Trade City Opens Sourcing Center With 324 Tenants

Beijing – October 15, 2026 -- Linyi Trade City, a regional commodity hub in east China's Shandong Province, has opened an international sourcing center with 324 corporate tenants. Cross-border transport costs for related goods fall by about 20 percent through the center's logistics facilities.

More than 100 foreign buyers visit on opening day

Over 100 foreign purchasers visited the center on its September 28 opening. Sales staff at a local chemical trading firm's stores received several groups of foreign buyers.

Each tenant is linked to more than 10 upstream manufacturers. The center displays building materials, machinery, hardware, personal protection gear, home goods and daily necessities in bilingual format.

Foreign trade team handles customs, shipping and warehousing

The center has set up a specialized foreign trade service team to facilitate offline communication between local and foreign merchants. Foreign-language-speaking salesclerks only receive buyers, while the team handles the rest of the sales process.

The team also helps store merchants cultivate online orders through e-commerce platforms. It assists with customs declaration, vessel booking, overseas customs clearance and overseas warehouse delivery.

Buyers replace six-to-seven-day market tours with one building

Foreign buyers previously spent six to seven days moving between wholesale markets in Linyi Trade City. They can now source all the commodities they want inside the center.

Goods consolidators with export channels operate on the top floor. They can search for goods on behalf of foreign buyers, and foreign importers can select goods there directly.

A cross-border e-commerce industrial park and an international logistics park are part of the center. Together they cover "product selection, exhibition, transaction, logistics and payment." Buyer services include international hotels, halal catering and multilingual support.

Linyi Trade City says it can help in-zone merchants sell more than six million types of local goods to the world.
