New York – – September 28, 2026 -- Florida Tutoring Advantage has selected Littera Education to manage the statewide program's data layer for the 2026-2027 school year, expanding on Littera's role after the 2025-2026 launch.
Littera moves from one of 25 providers to statewide data manager
Littera was one of 25 tutoring service and support providers in the program's launch year. For the upcoming school year, Florida Tutoring Advantage has now chosen Littera specifically to build and operate the data infrastructure aggregating results across more than 15 different tutoring providers statewide.
Program targets K-5 literacy and math outcomes through unified data tracking
Florida Tutoring Advantage, established by House Bill 1361 in 2024 and administered by the University of Florida's Lastinger Center, offers in-person and virtual tutoring, automated learning software, and AI-enhanced support for Florida students needing extra help in reading or mathematics. Nico Mora, the program's Data and Reporting Manager, said Littera demonstrated the technical infrastructure needed to collect and clean data across the program's numerous tutoring vendors, calling the work critical to timely implementation support.
Lumen platform centralizes and normalizes cross-provider tutoring data
Littera's data and visualization platform, Lumen, will serve as the centralized, live data layer for the program, standardizing collection, scrubbing multiple data types, and normalizing tutoring data so it can be compared across providers. The platform is designed to give Florida Tutoring Advantage leadership real-time visibility into program execution, student engagement, and effectiveness across districts.
Littera founder and CEO Justin Serrano said the company built Lumen to solve data-consistency problems that have historically prevented large-scale tutoring programs from gathering the standardized information needed to drive implementation improvements and measurable student outcomes.
