The 360 Hub Kit integrates up to four HD auxiliary camera views out of the box, expandable to eight, covering sides, rear, cargo, and blind-zone perspectives. Footage is automatically surfaced in Lytx Video Search and synchronized with the company's existing DriveCam recordings, giving safety teams a single vehicle timeline instead of separate video streams.
AI-powered blind spot detection arrives winter 2026
Lytx confirmed that side and rear pedestrian, object, and blind spot detection features will roll out in winter 2026, built on the AI-ready hardware foundation of the new hub. Auxiliary camera lens obstruction detection is scheduled for the same release window.

The 360 Hub Kit delivers up to 1080p HD auxiliary views, an optional in-cab monitor, continuous local recording with expandable SD storage, secure certificate-based connectivity, and over-the-air update support. Teams can request clips from available time windows and upload footage over LTE, reducing the need for physical truck rolls during incident investigations.
Fleets gain tools for claims defense, theft deterrence, and service verification
Lytx said the expanded visibility is designed to support liability defense, worksite monitoring, theft deterrence, service verification, low-speed incident review, and insurance evidence collection.
Lytx sets a phased rollout through spring 2027
The company outlined a release schedule: fall 2026 brings HD auxiliary camera and monitor enhancements plus on-demand multi-cam playback in Lytx Video Search; winter 2026 adds pedestrian, object, and blind spot detection along with lens obstruction detection; spring 2027 introduces fixed-site camera support, a stand-alone Smart Camera module, and side and rear blind spot events. Lytx also plans to extend its platform beyond vehicles to fixed cameras for yards, job sites, and facilities.
