Silicon Valley – September 18, 2026 -- MapUp, Inc. has expanded its NavGuru navigation platform to embed live truck parking, weigh station, wash and low-bridge data directly into fleet routing screens, aiming to close a compliance gap that costs a 3,000-truck fleet an estimated $5 million a year.
Fuel-plan compliance jumped from 74% to 98% in four months
At one dedicated carrier operating more than 2,500 trucks, fuel-prescription compliance rose from 74% to above 98% within four months of integrating the fuel plan into driver navigation, according to MapUp. The company says a plan followed only three-quarters of the time forfeits a quarter of its projected savings before any results are booked.
NavGuru now maps 243,000 truck-specific places and restrictions
The upgrade adds roughly 243,000 truck places and restrictions built from official and public sources, including more than 200,000 low bridges with posted weight, length, width and hazmat limits, 22,500 truck parking and rest sites, weigh stations, CAT scales, repair shops, and 938 washes with type and certification data. These are displayed along the route corridor with distance ahead and lane position, checked against the specific truck's height, weight and length rather than shown as generic nearby points.
Live parking counts and road-condition feeds now refresh on every reroute
Where states publish parking counts, NavGuru shows available spaces, occupancy trend and a plain-language status -- likely a spot, filling up, or full -- and automatically offers the next option if a planned stop nears capacity. Live road conditions covering work zones, closures, bridge limits, chain control and weather are pulled from state and provincial feeds across the US and Canada and refreshed with every reroute.
Dispatch can rewrite fuel and route plans while trucks are still moving
FuelGuru prescribes stops and gallon amounts from a fleet's own fuel file and negotiated card prices, feeding directly into NavGuru so drivers see approved and blocked stops on the route. Dispatchers can push new routes mid-trip, add stops, or mark a fuel stop unavailable -- triggering automatic reassignment to the next best stop across every affected route on the same negotiated pricing. If a driver misses a stop or leaves the route, NavGuru reroutes from the truck's current position and recalculates the fuel plan.
